New Investor, I live in CA, I have $100k cash, covid hit hard in my family, unfortunately the money was originally designated for funeral expenses, God is good. I wish to do something positive with the money; invest. Is the market correct for inexperience people like myself ?

Note: I'm good with tools and have a strong family background in construction.
