Looking to Connect with Local REI in Charlotte, NC

Hey everyone!

*Quick background*
I just signed up on BP today and I have been currently residing in the Charlotte, NC area for almost three years and have always had an interest in investing in real estate. To that point, I left my full time job out of college to pursue and build my real estate knowledge foundation. Currently, I am a Senior Loan Officer in the area which gave me the opportunity to learn the basis of real estate and the financing aspect of obtaining a property. 

Now, I am seeking to take the next step and purchase my first investment via house-hacking this year. If there are any local REI meetups, contacts or groups, I would love to connect and learn from the knowledgeable investors here in the Queen City.

I am looking forward to building great relationships and taking this next step in my journey.

Hey Jeremiah, welcome to Bigger Pockets! Scan through the different forums and I have no doubt you'll come across posts that offer valuable knowledge. My firm is having a REI on Tap at QC Pourhouse in South End on March 23rd at 5:30 PM. There will be plenty of investors there that would be great to connect with.
