Becoming a Real Estate Agent

Jacob Pallesen
Posted

Hello! I am looking into becoming a real estate agent for multiple reasons. First reason is that I love everything to do with real estate investing wise. I am currently a construction worker and I am looking to get out of the blue collar field for health reasons as well. I am currently relying on salary from my construction job to support my family. I am looking for advice on how to transition into becoming a real estate agent. My work ethic is relentless and my "why" is extremely powerful. Nothing will stop me from achieving what I need to for my family. Looking for tips on how to be a part time agent and how can I transition asap. Thanks for all the reply's.

Take the pre-licensing class, get your license, find a brokerage and team inside of that where you can get training, and do not even think of quitting your current job for a minimum of one year. If we could all count the amount of real estate agents who thought they would crush it coming in and didn't, it would be about 95%. You have the passion, but don't give up steady money for commission money before you can match your income.
