Real estate in Scotland

I am a newbie and ask for help and guidance.

It is my first post here. I live in Dubai, but have to travel often to Glasgow for work.. I am planing to establish a Limited Company there and invest in real estate.

Any tips from UK real estate investors? where I should look to find distressed properties? any one can share experience from UK real estate investing?
