Knob and tube wiring in a rental property

Has anyone here ever bought a rental property that had knob and tube wiring?  If so, how did you approach it?  Did you have the entire property rewired, or did you simply leave it alone?  If you had it rewired, approximately how much did you pay?  Thanks in advance!
