First home buyer for personal and non profit

Hi all! I am brand new to this space and very motivated. My goal for the future is to have rental properties (not managed by me). I listened to the podcast a bunch and figured that househack would be the best start for me since I am really ready to settle down in my own space anyways. So I guess my question is, where do I even start?

I also plan to operate (eventually) the non profit I started (holistic healing for trauma survivors) partially out of this property and an LLC (events etc.) I'm wondering if anyone has ever gone down this path and if there is any legal or financial matters I should consider?

Thanks in advance!!
