Hi,

I'm new to real estate investing, been reading on and off for the last year and a half. Trying to do this with a full time job is no joke. I'm in the Leesville, Louisiana area, Alexandria and Lake Charles are both an hour away. My short term goal is start with Single Family rental property and slowly gravitate towards Multi Family. I have no cash, barely anytime (me and my wife both work) and I try to read and focus on real estate investing when I have free time from family, work and everyday life issues. I would like to start local so we both get to learn the process, understand it better and have a first hand experience on the ups and downs of real estate investing. Long term goal is to invest out of state. Thank you all for the valuable insights, much appreciated.
