Seller financing for beginners

Hey so I came across a property that was selling for about $390,000. I want to do seller financing but I honestly don't have any idea of how long I would do it or if and when there would be a balloon payment. Can anyone give me an idea of how long people do a seller financing term for? And what would be too long of a term and what would be too short?
