Looking For Sanford NC Property Manager
Hi all, rookie investor here.
I recently moved into a property in Sanford, NC that I plan to house hack and eventually keep as a LTR. It's an older property, so it needs some updating before I can put it on the market. I'd like to work with a trusted property manager in the area to give some more direction on what needs to be changed to
A) make the home more desirable to renters and
B) ensure the property is within all legal requirements for a rental.
I figure that nobody has more incentive to give this advice than someone who will eventually be managing it. I do have a general contractor walking through with me soon to plan out rehab and costs, but I think working with a property manager will be the real cherry on top. I realize I should have done all this during my due diligence period but I'm learning as I go... Any questions you think I should be asking either the GC or PM, or things I should consider more specifically while rehabbing?
