SFR how much to put down?

Posted

Hello Everyone,

My wife and I are about to purchase our first Single Family Rental. We both work great W2 jobs and have enough saved up for this purchase that something came up that we are unsure about. Is it better to put more money down on the property therefore reducing the monthly costs as much as possible and increasing our cash flow or putting just the 25% required for a long term investment and using the rest for another down payment on another property? Either way we plan to buy two properties this year so what would you all do? Thanks in advance and we are so excited to join the club!
