Best ROI for New Investors in New York Upstate

Hello everyone, 

i am new in the new york up state area (I am in Clinton for now) and i am looking where are the best areas for real estate investment around new york up state (Syracuse, Schenectady, ... ?). Could you please give me a good list on where to invest in multifamily houses and more ? Good broker and real estate agent around the areas who can help me in all the strategy possible ? I will greatly appreciate the info

@Christopher Contento  yeah i saw that area. There is huge construction around. That is a great idea. I will look into that too. Thank for bringing that up @Jennifer Hoover. I definitely do want to fall in this trap. I need to make sure i have an exit door for sure
