When is the best time to buy/build properties?
I am new to investing in real estate and still have alot, I feel, to go through on this site. I just recently stumbled across this site. I only have my primary residence at this point. My goal is to be able to walk away from my job comfortably in 5 years if i choose. With the Fed talking about raising interest rates next year I'm wondering if I should slightly rush through information and buy while the interest rates are low or should I wait until house prices are low but interest rates are up? Is it the same advice if I were to build rather than buy? I am in the Maryland, D.C., Virginia area, if it depends on location. Thanks for all responses in advance.
