Mortgage Payment and LLC

Hello,

I have a question I'd like to ask for clarity. A buddy and myself have started an LLC for investment properties. We recently closed on our first property this month! To get a better loan, I put the loan / mortgage in my personal name. I'll list the question below that I'm struggling to get clarification on.

1. Even though the mortgage is in my name, can our LLC make the mortgage payment each month (and same for utilities)? If yes, are there any tax implications that I would need to be worried about on my personal taxes since the property is in my name but someone else is making the payments?

And I know in most situations you would want the LLC to be on the mortgage for protection purposes of the asset in lieu of being personally liable but given our unique situation of how we each contributed money to the LLC, it'd be nice to have the LLC's cash to pay for the mortgage up front until we get the property paying for itself. The end goal is to deed the property to the LLC. Thank you in advance for all your help.
