New investors looking for advice in Portland, Oregon

Hey everyone, my husband and I are looking to buy a multifamily home in the Portland, Oregon metro area (around). We have enough for a down payment and we both have good credit scores, but we don't have work history due to going to school and other life situations. We just wanted to get some opinions on if we would be able to get approved for an FHA loan or if the work history would get in the way of that being possible right now.
