New to REI and looking to Network

Hello all! I am completely new to the REI realm, but what I lack in experience I make up for in enthusiasm!

A little bit of background on myself. My Fiance and I recently bought our first home in the Northern Virginia area and have quickly been exposed to the responsibilities of home ownership. I have been interested in Real Estate right out of college, and purchasing our first property has increased the intensity tenfold. I have been diligently saving for a down payment on our first rental and practicing analyzing Real Estate deals. 

I am currently at the stage of maximum information absorbtion and would love to begin networking with people about all things Real Estate. I have joined a Mastermind that has been a little slow getting the ball rolling. I think with the Holiday season and busy lifestyles it will take a bit of time to gather momentum. I have also reached out to a local REI meetup group and hope to get some information on the next event.

Are there other areas where people congregate to share experiences and just talk Real Estate? I have joined the Real Estate Rookie Facebook page, but the conversations on there tend to be more in depth than I can contribute to. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
