Part time PA Realtor? Tips on what to take into consideration.

Hello all,

I'm currently studying for the PA realtors exam and am on the fence if I want to continue with the training. I'm not sure how successful a part-time realtor can be. I have a job 4-4.5 months of the year that pays pretty well but dries up during the summer months and around Christmas. Nov-Oct and Feb-Apr are good months, the rest are pretty bare. Do you think any brokers would be interested in someone who can work full-time (40+ hrs) for 8 months a year? Would the expenses outway the profits? Is it worth all the time it would take to learn the business? Just looking for some advice, anything you'd like to share would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Frank
