Owning & earning your investor identity

Hey BP! This forum is becoming like more of a diary of sorts but it's nice to put thoughts out into the universe.

So, I'm realizing my identity or "lane" as an investor which is a developer. I didn't think or know I was one until multiple individuals acknowledged me as exactly that. To make a long story short I'm currently working on developing 13 units in the city of Lake Elsinore, CA and while going through the process of developing raw land into multifamily housing there's going to be a ton of people you come in contact with the are essential to the development process. Although this is only my 2nd year into investing in real estate I've been fortunate enough to be in the current position I'm in which at first didn't seem like a developer but now looking at it I understand what the individuals were saying.

I share this thought because I want all of my BP members to take on and embrace yourself as truly an investor or whatever investing title you may receive along your journey. Once I truly felt like I was a developer my whole attitude/identity/mindset changed for the better! Embrace the change, internalize it, and become it!!!
