1 Million to invest for cashflow. What do you do?

Hi BP community ✌️

I just recently moved to California and the US only 6 months ago. I have been working in sales the past 10 years. For the last 6, I have worked for a publicly traded company. Every month 15% of my salary has been going towards buying stock of the company at a discounted price (ESPP) and all bonuses have been paid in stock as well (RSU’s).

I have been pretty lucky with the stock going crazy over the last 2 years. It looks like by the end of 2022, I will have $1M worth of stock at my disposal.

I would like to invest in bigger multifamily but how do I even get started? Do I buy 1 big property or multiple small ones? What would you do? My income is below 100k a year, how do I even go about getting financing for a $4-5M property?

So far I own 1 rental unit in Switzerland and 1 in Louisville so taking this huge step is freaking scary.

I plan to take my time to do extensive research throughout 2022 but would like to hear some opinions in the meantime?

I appreciate any advice!
