Help! My Property Manager is not paying!

Kyle LeBaron
Posted

Hello, I am newer to rental properties and am still on my first one so a LOT of things I have done wrong.  I have been working with a PM out of Kansas City, MO where my property is at.  They have become very unresponsive and after multiple requests for them to update me or their website, I moved to a new PM.  Now the old PM has almost $5,000 in rent and deposits and will not respond.  I even had a lawyer send a written complaint.  Do you guys have any other recommendations?  I live in MI so it is not as easy as driving over.

@Kyle LeBaron yes talk with lawyer and get the ball rolling on a demand.
Also why investing out of MI? You can get awesome returns right in your own back yard.
