Starting out in Orlando, Florida Searching for My Path

Lou Benveniste
Posted

Hi Biggerpockets community! My name is Lou Benveniste and I'm just starting out (again) in real estate investing. I've owned single family rental properties in the past BUT am just now learning about, and from BP. I've learned about some of the mistakes that I didnt know I made when I owned rentals and am working towards getting back into investing. I'm currently working as a network engineer and would like to start replacing that income with financial freedom in real estate. There is a vast ocean of overwhelming information here and I think I'd like to start performing the BRRRR method/house hack strategy. If anyone in Orlando, Florida is interested in finding out if we might have a mutually beneficial relationship, please do reach out to me.

That sounds like a great strategy. What are you using to estimate rentals prices considering these are new builds? I assume there are existing rentals in the area?
