Newbie Seeking Advise

Nick DeMars
Posted

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm just entering the world of REI and have purchased my first single-family rental property. It has been rehabbed and is ready for the rental market. I downloaded and am prepared to use the forms found in the BP Toolkit.

Since this is my first rental, I want to make sure I cover all of the bases. I have the following forms in mind to use:

Residential Lease Application

Background Check Consent Form (I will pay for a professional background check)

Residential Lease Agreement

Any advice on further steps I need to take would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick
