Mid life career crisis

Posted

Hello all, I’m 33 and am having a career mid life crisis. I’ve been working since I was 15-1/2. Started out in retail throughout high school. Was a student athlete so you can imagine what it was like having school, practice/games (events I was a track and field guy) and then work. Thought I knew what I wanted to do with my life and pursued my career in the automotive industry. After finishing up my auto program I started out working in the shops. Was an automotive technician for 6 years, to the age of 27. Made a career change (which I would rather not say in a public forum) and have been working in that career for the last six years. I now find myself unhappy with my current career and have always been drawn to real estate, but never knew how to even get started in this big industry. I have realized however that if I want to make a successful career out of real estate, at the age of 33, now would be the time and I don’t have any more to waste.

My question to you all is where can a guy like myself go to learn and get started in this business? I am highly motivated, with a won’t quit attitude. I learn quickly and catch on fast. I want to make this career change, but I don’t even know where to get started. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
