Foreign Nationals Forming LLC

Posted

Hello,

I am looking at purchasing a short term rental property in Tennessee, I am from the UK and aware I need to start an LLC to be able to purchase the property and operate the business.

I understand there are certain tax benefits in starting the LLC in Wyoming or Delaware, however, I am unsure if I need to create the LLC in Tennessee as this is where I will be purchasing the property. There will be no physical office, and I will likely be handling the operations of the business outside of the United States.

Has anyone else had personal experience with this? Or any advice will be greatly appreciated.

With kind regards and thanks

Charlotte
