Tickler system. (on computers)

Hello friends.

I am looking for a good system to track my contacts as well as keep my follow up organized. I read about "tickler files" and wondered if anyone would have any goood ideas for doing this on the computer or online systems perhaps. Please share what has or has not worked for you. Thank you.
