What Partnership Problems have You Had? How Did You Resolve?

Wondering what sort of disagreements others have had in JV or LLC Partnerships and how you resolved them. Even when you do your best with operating agreements, proformas, and verbal discussions ... when the project is done and there's a big pile of money it's SO ripe for disagreement about how it gets split up -- small misunderstandings translate into large amounts of $$. I'm not suggesting greediness or spite ... just genuine misunderstanding of how things should work.

Tips?  Tricks?  Stories?  How have you handled situations where the roles turned out different than what was originally agreed to?  Bonus points for examples or ideas involving 2 partners, equal distribution of work, with 1 partner providing 100% of the financing.  ;-)  I can provide details of my situation, but really hoping to hear your wisdom first.
