The Importance of Staying Focused

I've had having several conversations with clients lately regarding 2019 successes and planning for 2020. I just wanted to take a minute to discuss the importance of staying focused when planning within business & real estate. It's important to stay laser focused on the tasks at hand and on the things that you can control. Often times business owners and real estate investors get caught up in the things that they have no control over (losing a deal, the weather, etc) which causes a lack of focus which can lead to poor results. If you can stay laser focused on the things you can control and the things that you do best it's really amazing at the results that can be achieved.

Can anyone add more about the importance of staying focused

Great topic.  I would like to add some additional spin on this topic.  Until late I have been a buy and hold guy.  All my goals are around growing that portfolio.  But I have been having trouble finding deals that meet my requirements and so have stumbled on a couple of flip opportunities and so have pulled the trigger.  This isn't necessarily a bad thing but I now find myself splitting time and effort and focus on flips and buy and hold and I don't want to lose that laser focus on what my goals truly are...buy and hold.  Anyway, your topic reminded me of this recent lesson I have been learning.
