Share Your Vivid Vision
I've heard the two bigger pockets business podcasts about vivid visions and they seem to be a great tool for growing your business. I'm just curious if any one else has deployed them and how well they have worked for you. I would love to hear your own/your company's vivid vision!
@Gabriel Wheeler I just saw this thread...I must have just heard the same podcasts because I just started drafting mine. How is yours going?
@Gabriel Wheeler Do you have the book? I'm really interested in reading it from all the talk on the podcast about it
I finished it recently, great book, I'd highly recommend it! It really helped clarify my goals. I spent the last month writing and refining it, and here is the link to it. I focused a little bit more on my life than my business, because that's the priority in my book. Here's the link- Vivid Vision
Here is a link to my just finished Vivid Vision. The three people I have shared it with have commented that they can clearly see where I want to get to now. Interestingly those two individuals know me as well as anyone as one is my wife and the other is an executive coach I have worked with for over a year.
House people for a profit, care for the assets that produce the money, live well, eat well, enjoy life.
Invest strategically and carefully.
Treat others well, help them when I can, and lead a decent life.
Steer the ship through waters calm and troubled and come out good.

@Matthew Boos awesome! Thank you for sharing your vivid vision! I am just starting to write mine and needed some inspiration!
@Gabriel Wheeler I just finished the book and am brainstorming ideas on what I want to include. At this point though, it’s a bit overwhelming! I feel like there are many directions I could choose to go in and it’s hard to narrow down what I really want in life.
Here is my finished polished copy.
After doing this project I will give you a few pointers. Be clear on your values before starting to reflect on what your ideal life/business looks like in 3 years. Give yourself some time on this project. From beginning to end I spent close to 3 months. I would have some sort of rough framework to start from that I built at home. Steal my 5 pillars if you would like but don't start really reflecting on things until you are in a space to really dream. I spent two afternoons in a hammock at a park with ear plugs in just dreaming. I fell asleep both times so be warned. Find a copy write to help you put your ideas into a format that others can understand. I spent $150 to hire a copy write that really made my words pop of the page. Feel free to use my magazine "Feature" layout as you will receive 0 points for originality in this project. I had a friend take the words that you see in the first draft and put them into a magazine feature article I liked that I found on the internet. He is a skilled graphic designer and it took him almost zero time to do this. The hardest part of this whole project is really being venerable enough to share with others. It sounds crazy but not everyone is super enthused about someone that knows were they want to go and wants to live a better life. Once you are done and this project is in the universe be ready to go! Your subconscious will take over and you will wake up much more focused. People will jump at the chance to help you when they truly know your destination. My last piece of advice is to dream big as I have already found I have not dreamed big enough. You will overestimate what you can accomplish in one year but underestimate what you can accomplish in 3 years.
