Canadian Looking to Invest in US - How to set up a company

Posted

I am a Canadian looking to start investing in US real estate and I have questions regarding setting up a company to limit my own liability. What type of company should one set up that would be low cost, limit my liability, have a favourable tax structure, and allow me to build US credit? If I use a Canadian bank as a lender does anything change if it's the company buying the property as opposed to me personally? Thanks in advance.
