How to decide where to go in your real estate career?
Right now I am a veteran welder who owns a duplex in NC which I am house hacking and I'm looking to further my career in real estate. I would like to get more in to real estate development and eventually own my own firm. Everything I see online says I need an engineering degree, which I can use my GI bill to pay for but it seems a little unnecessary and time consuming and I feel like I would still end up just working for someone else for a paycheck in the end. I also feel like everything I need to know to actually get homes built could be learned on the internet and from my library and all the licenses needed can be hired. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
