Holding Company Questions

Hey everyone! So I'm just starting out on my real estate journey and I'm trying to figure out the best place to have my holding company. My question is: Is there really a "best" place to have a holding company? I've heard that some states are tenant friendly or don't offer specific protections that you might hope to get should any legal issues come up. I currently live in FL, should I seek out a new place to have my holding company formed in? At this moment, I'm still creating my business plan, so I don't intend to set up my LLC until my plan is complete.
