Setting Up Umbrella for Multiple Businesses

I have a real estate business and an online store for goods and services. Both of them are set up as LLC's. I am interested in creating an LLC for all of my LLC's to be under. That being said I have limited knowledge on the subject. Have any of you set up your entities this way? If so, what was your story? Thank you in advance for sharing your experience.
