Multiple LLCs Per Mulitple Rentals in Multiple States
I own a SFH in Memphis, TN and I'm about to close on a SFH home in Baltimore, MD. My plan is to stay in the Baltimore area for the next 5-7 years in regards to investing. After that I plan on buying a multi-family in Los Angeles, California.
My question, is it best to have all properties under one LLC or have a LLC per state? I heard that it's best to have all properties in one state under one LLC. If that is the case, should I have a LLC or Inc. to be a holding company that sits on top of the hierarchy of all my LLCs?
