"Benefits" when Self-Employed

Hi Bigger Pockets friends,

I am a newbie in the real estate world and have attended many webinars lately to educate myself as fully as possible before diving in. If I ever wanted to quit my W-2, 9-5 paying job and commit to becoming a full-time real estate investor, I consider losing the "benefits" that come with that. Benefits such as medical coverage, dental coverage, short and long term disability coverage, etc. that is included with my employment. For those of you who are full-time real estate investors, how do you work around this? What do you currently do?
