New-Ish REI venture in Baltimore/DC/South Jersey Region

Hi,

Been quietly following the site for a while and am just now introducing myself. We (my father, two other partners, and myself) are planning to formalize a joint RE venture in the next 30 days. We collectively own 9 rental properties in Baltimore City and South Jersey, both SFH and multi-units.

Most of the properties have been owned for 10+ years, so we don't have great networks right now, but we're looking to invest in Baltimore City primarily.

I'm specifically looking for advice on the best legal structure for the entity, dividend payments, tax benefits, etc.  In addition, any recommendations for accountants, attorneys, and lenders in MD would be great.

Thanks,

LR
