Worst State to LLC
I thought California had to be the worst state to LLC in ($800 annual Fee and a small amount of tax), but Tennessee seems to be even worse ($300-3,000 annual Fee, a small franchise tax, and a big 6.5% excise tax). Any professionals want to have a 50 state discussion regarding their experiences with individual states?
For my state, Ohio, the experience seems to be one of the better ones in the country. No annual filings or fees, low initial fees, no additional taxes, charging order only, and no distinction between single member and multi-member for piercing purposes.

Nevada is always in the top two states recommended for good reason. My fees are limited to <$500 including what I pay the registered agent. Very corporate-friendly legal environment as well.
