Typical equity split between deal manager and investor

Hey all, I'm working with a guy who recently sold a business and wants my help to put his money to work in real estate, which is great! He's looking at spreading his money around into different smaller multi family properties. We will be creating an entity and I will be managing the deal for the long term. What is a typical equity split today for small multi's between the deal manager and investor? Note: this is not my first deal but is my first deal with an investor. Thanks!
