Property Management Policy & Procedures

Hi BP!

I'm in the process of writing down my official property management policy and procedures.  Does anyone else do this?  Is anyone willing to share theirs, or know of any good templates to use?

My thought process behind this is by having my policy and procedures written down in an organized fashion I will be able to run my business, well...like a business!  My goal is to have a clear answer to any tenant questions/property issues that arise by simply referring to my written policy/procedures.

I also think this will help me find areas where my lease agreement is weak, so I can strengthen it for the next renewal or new tenant.

Thanks and happy investing,

Mike

@Michael Germinario you can go to google type - property management policy and procedures manual - this will provide links to different existing property management firm's policy and procedure manuals. Typically you will go to their pdf link of the manual that is provided online. This way you can review and use what you think is most beneficial and disregard items that do not apply to you.

Good Luck!
