50% rule/accouting question

Hi BP!

I understand the 50% rule, and its use in analyzing a property, but I never see it mentioned past that. I was wondering how that transfers over to the business side. When the rent comes in, do you guys have separate accounts that you are sticking 50% each in and paying your rent out of one and fixing the hot water heater out of the other, or do you just stick it all in one and go with it.
