Funding real estate with outside business revenue
Sorry if this is a dumb question...but here we go.
I am a self employed IT consultant, and looking to get into real estate investing. My consulting is done through an LLC (s-corp) and I am the only shareholder. Being self employed (and IT consulting not having much overhead means) a huge tax burden.
Is it possible to move revenue from my IT s-corp into a holding company that would 'own' my s-corp, which could then either purchase real estate? Just trying to figure out how to use the most pre-tax dollars as possible for real estate.
Thanks, sorry if this is confusing! Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!
