What are your major challenges in raising capital in Canada?

Over the past few weeks, I've been speaking with a lot of people across Canada not only about my love and passion for real estate but also about creating relationships and raising capital. Many people have been approaching me about what I'm doing to raise capital, so I've decided to do a survey within my network to see if anyone would be interested in creating an online expert group to support our journey in raising more capital in Canada. I've been seeing a large number of social media posts where individuals are trying to raise money for real estate deals by using phrases such as "I'm looking for a JV partner" or "I've got this deal under contract, send me a DM". However, according to securities commissions, this constitutes solicitation and can create issues in Canada.I'm willing to put together a group of 10 to 20 people to create an online community in Canada led by a seasoned asset manager and high-net-worth individual who has successfully raised over $70 million from his time in Bay Street and had his IIROC (Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada) license. We've all made this mistake in the past where we only discussed our deals and failed to address and find solutions to the real issues facing high-net-worth individuals.I'd like to offer a six-month mastermind program where I would bring in a highly experienced person who has been training some of the best real estate syndicators and capital raisers in North America. The great thing about this is that this individual is Canadian and understands the rules and regulations in Canada. We would meet at least once or twice a month for a minimum session of one hour per meeting. It will not be easy: you will have homework to complete and you will be required to leave your COMFORT ZONE. We would create a support group with the members via a private FaceBook or Slack Channel. This would be open to both seasoned individuals, who are raising capital, and to new individuals, who are looking to get into the world of capital-raising.Here are some of the talking points and key skills you would learn:-How to raise money like on Bay Street and Wall Street.-How to find and attract high-net-worth accredited investors.-How to find the triggers of high-net-worth individuals, as money is not always the answer.- How to create the perfect avatar for attracting your high-net-worth customer.-How to actively raise capital in Canada without breaking any rules or the law.-How to create a roadmap from where you are today to guide you through practical and straightforward steps to get you where you want to go.-How to create a unique value in the world today. While I would not personally profit from this, I would have to hire the individual in question; therefore, there would be a fee of approximately CAD$2,500 per person to gain access to this unique and experienced person who was licensed in Canada and who has raised money in Canada. This program will be geared towards Canadians doing business in Canada. Please connect with me for more details.
