Offsetting Boot and PAL

Carlos Ptriawan#1 Market Trends & Data Contributor

During 1031, I read PAL can offset Boot.  if my PAL position is like this:
PAL for 1031  Property $30,000
PAL for Property A (not part of 1031) $10,000
PAL for Property B (not part of 1031) $15,000

Now if I want the boot to be offset by PAL, is the PAL that I should use here the PAL specific to 1031 property only ($30k) ; or is it aggregated PAL (in this case $55k).

Thank you !
