My background shows I’m very comfortable with change and I adapt well. I have a love of businesses and a love affair with what makes things tick. You will discover we are probably kindred spirits! I come from humble beginnings living with my parents in a log cabin house heated by a fireplace. I say the joke, “My parents did just well enough so I could grow up poor around white people.” I was the “one token black” kid in a completely all-white school elementary and high-school of 3,000 students who practiced Catholicism, the strict Irish way. My first job ever I worked at a supermarket. I've since worked my way up from being a cashier, to a banker, to marketer, to a lead generator. I found out about online marketing. I helped our lead generation team grow using paid advertising. I created a business and sales-copy strategy and used "gamification" to grow businesses. So, I became a digital marketing strategist. And I'm so glad I did. It made me a harder worker and a student of the craft of building a great product and advertising. I got better at making good decisions and I’m sticking with it!
