Hello, 65 years old, happily married, together we have 5 children and 4 grandchildren We became landlords in June 2021. We bought a new (to us) home, and rented out the one we have lived in for the past 10 years. We do owe 40k on the rental, and have plans to have it paid off in 24 months. We want to refinance and purchase another single family, rehab, and continue to repeat this process until we get to 10 single family rentals. Long term goal is to acquire some 1-8 unit multi-family properties to help supplement retirement income.
