How do I find the hot markets in my area?

sorry this may sound like a stupid question but i've been sitting on my computer trying to figure out how to do this as I've been trying to PM other folks.

Trying out advertising for my "we buy houses" type website on Facebook, currenlty running it live for the next 3 days.anyone tried it before, love it or hate it? what are your results?
