What sites and/or screening criteria/requirements/rules do you have and used that’s helped you screened “good” tenants?

There are lots of posts about the pros and cons of section 8 when searching the site.  What is the best way to screen section 8 applicants to ensure the best possible tenants in the program are approved?

As landlords, how do you run credit reports/checks against your applicants? Any particular service/website you use? I do have their information including SSN that was turned in as part of the application form.Thanks!
