I've searched the forums and came up with 2 different ways to change my image profile but when I click on the tab, it just says "Thanks for uploading your profile photo!" I'd like to upload a more current photo.

Do you guys think that uploading a personal profile image (avatar) should be a pre-requisite for participating on the forums, blog system, properties directory, etc. here at BiggerPockets?
