Does anyone know if there is any other way to do title searches without paying $300 everytime you want to look up a property? Is it hard to become a title searcher?

Has anyone ever seen the results of a title search? I think this is called the title abstract.

I'm a big online shopper and am always looking at property sites Redfin, Trulia and Zillow.  Are there better sites for searching for properties than the big three?  Especially for investors.
