I have held a brokers license in the past ( 1980's) but never made the transition to professional use of the credential. I found the knowledge useful in the purchase and sale of my personal residences and have had some firsthand experience in helping my parents manage a rental duplex.
I still consider myself a newbie even tho I have some experience in RE. All of those past/current investments have been with partners who have done a lot of the work.
