Would love to take advantage of the housing bust in the SF Bay Area and find a property to buy and hold (rent out) for the next 4-5 years. I would really love to buy and rehab, but that would require quitting a stable, well-paying job with great benefits. Can't take such a risk. Maybe when I retire in 4-5 years?
I'm a full time real estate agent and I'm ready to start buying investment property. Had investment property years ago and sold to move out of state. Want to start including real estate in my portfolio again.
RE has been a good venture and I was able to retire early. For whatever fortunate reason, I was a buyer of RE in market downturns in 80-82 and 90-94. From 95 to 05 I also did rehabs, Sub2s and wholesaling. Still interested in rentals and rehabs in WV close to my current residence in Romney, WV as well as in VA.
