Not in real estate but hope to buy a home again when I get the loan modification company (who were supposed to HELP us get a loan after my husband lost his job) off my credit report. I have excellent credit rating other than those scammers! They are the only thing standing between us and buying a home again!

I did invest in Waco, TX in early 80's. Overall terrible experience. Stopped my plan in 1990's and sold. Now I see that if I had had the cushion to ride out my rents would have doubled in 15 years.
